NEW POKÉMON: As you can see in the world around you, there are hundreds of new Pokémon now available in Pokémon GO.
- DITTO: Ditto was not available when Pokémon GO launched, but it is now. It's a very unique Pokémon, as it disguises itself as common Pokémon. Those common Pokémon are Gastly, Pidgey, Taillow, Gulpin, Rattata, Zubat, Sentret, Hoothoot, Whismur, Yanma, and Zigzagoon.
GYM UPDATE: In addition to looking different, Gyms now work different, too. The old system based on prestige and level is gone. Instead, we now have the motivation system.

- BERRY FEEDING: You and your teammates are able to restore the motivation of a defender by feeding it a Berry. Do this by tapping on a Pokémon's 3D model, then tapping on the Berry icon to feed it. You can change the Berry you want to feed by tapping the selection menu on the lower left side.
- REMOTE FEEDING: You can feed Berries to your defending Pokémon from anywhere by going to a defender's information page in your Pokémon inventory. Excluding the Golden Razz Berry, each Berry fed through the remote feature will restore less motivation than if you were standing near the Gym. It will still award the usual 20 Stardust.
- CP & IVs: If you look online for strategies for the current metagame, you are probably very confused about what many people talk about these days. Let's break it down. In our current battle system, CP is no longer important. What matters is a Pokémon's base stats and moveset (which can be found out by referencing our Pokédex) and their IVs, or individual values. ...
