legendary data removed

Niantic has made an update to the GAME_MASTER file overnight. Instead of adding something, they removed something. That thing is the base capture rate (BCR) for Mewtwo, Entei, Raikou, Ho-Oh, and Suicune.

This was completely unexpected. Mewtwo wasn't surprising, but Ho-Oh and the Legendary Dogs were definitely a shock. PNN and GO Hub have speculated that Ho-Oh will be released after the Pokémon GO Stadium in Yokohama. PNN has also speculated that the three beasts will also become available with Ho-Oh. However, it may not be as bad as it seems.

First off, Niantic can always put this data back into the GAME_MASTER file when they are ready to release these Legendaries, as they did with GO Fest. The removal of this data may hint that some of these Legendaries may not be available soon, but it shouldn't be too long. GO Hub broke this story, and credit for this information goes to them. They have said they'll keep an eye on this data, especially late next week near the end of Zapdos' cycle, and PNN will update you on their findings.

Good luck with your Moltres Raids, Trainers!
