4. Use a lucky egg for Pokedex additions!
Pokédex additions earn triple XP during this event. Using a Lucky Egg for your first new Beast, Mewtwo, or any other addition is all but required, as it will boost the boost to SIX TIMES the normal XP.
5. Best uses for super incubators
Super Incubators allow Eggs to have their distance reduced to 67%. This means that 10KM Eggs are the only Eggs really worth a Super Incubator use. We recommend saving any Super Incubators bought for after the event, when 10KM Eggs will be more available again.
The Super Incubator is not available to be bought loosely, so the event boxes are the only way. But, they won't be as rare, as they have the regular three usages (not the one that was originally datamined).
