Other  viable  counters

If you're looking for other Poison-types, here are the other viable contenders: Nidoqueen, Crobat, Victreebel, Tentacruel, Vileplume, and Venusaur.

If you're looking for other Steel-type counters, here are the best of your alternative options: Mawile, Magneton, Steelix, and Aggron.

NOTE: Excluding Mawile, all of the Steel-type Pokémon are weak to Close Combat (Aggron even more so), so be wary when using them.
