Overview

After beating your Latias, look for the following CP values. These values are those of a Latias with perfect IV's.
  • REGULAR: 1929
  • WEATHER: 2412

Latias has 228 attack, 268 defense, 160 stamina. As a Raid Boss, it has a CP of 45704.

Latias is a Dragon-type and a Psychic-type. It has access to the following moves:
  • FAST MOVES: Dragon Breath, Zen Headbutt
  • CHARGED MOVES: Outrage, Psychic, Thunder

Counters

tyranitar

Tyranitar is the best counter to Latias. It takes reduced damage from Latias' Psychic-type moves, and attacks with a lot of speed and power.

  • FAST MOVE: Bite
  • CHARGED MOVE: Crunch

Kyogre

Kyogre is a great counter for Latias. A Blizzard attack will deal a great deal of super-effective damage. Be wary of a Thunder attack, as with many of Latias' best counters.

  • FAST MOVE: Waterfall
  • CHARGED MOVE: Blizzard

Scizor

Scizor is the third-best counter to Latias and the best Bug-type counter. It attacks with incredible speed and charges its Charged Attacks very quickly.

  • FAST MOVE: Fury Cutter
  • CHARGED MOVE: X-Scissor

Mewtwo

Mewtwo can be a great counter, if you're lucky enough to have one. It deals out super-effective Charged Attacks with a large attack stat behind them.

​Here are the moves you'll want:
  • FAST MOVE: Psycho Cut
  • CHARGED MOVE: Shadow Ball

Gardevoir

Gardevoir is also a great counter. It is the best Fairy-type counter, and can also be used as a Ghost-type.

  • FAST MOVE: Confusion
  • CHARGED MOVE: Dazzling Gleam, Shadow Ball

Piloswine

Piloswine is a great Ice-type attacker. Although it isn't the strongest, it is the safest. Unlike many of the other Ice-type options, it doesn't have a weakness to Thunder.

​Here are the moves you'll want:
  • FAST MOVE: Powder Snow
  • CHARGED MOVE: Avalanche

Rayquaza

Rayquaza is the best Dragon-type counter to Latias. It will deal out a lot of super-effective damage. Unfortunately, it won't be able to take too many hits, so dodge if you can.

  • FAST MOVE: Dragon Tail
  • CHARGED MOVE: Outrage

Articuno

Articuno is a great counter to Latias. It's Ice-type attacks deal super-effective damage, and it should be able to take most of Latias' hits. Watch out for Thunder, though.

  • FAST MOVE: Frost Breath
  • CHARGED MOVE: Ice Beam, Blizzard

Other  viable  counters

Heracross and Pinsir are good Bug-type alternatives to Scizor. A Sceptile with Fury Cutter can also be used.

Banette and Gengar are the best Ghost-type counters to Latias. As for Fairy-types, Ursaring and Clefable are usable.

Walrein and Lapras are goof Ice-type alternatives. Feraligatr and Miltoic can also be used.

Dragonite and Salamence are great Dragon-type options. Altaria and Flygon can also be useful.

​Absol, Gyarados, Umbreon, Sharpedo, and Houndoom are the best Dark-type counters.
