Overview

After beating your Latios, look for the following CP values. These values are those of a Latios with perfect IV's.
  • REGULAR: 2082
  • WEATHER: 2603

Latios has 268 attack, 228 defense, 160 stamina. As a Raid Boss, it has a CP of 49323.

Latios is a Dragon-type and a Psychic-type. It has access to the following moves:
  • FAST MOVES: Dragon Breath, Zen Headbutt
  • CHARGED MOVES: Dragon Claw, Psychic, Solar Beam

Counters

tyranitar

Tyranitar is the best counter to Latios. It takes reduced damage from Latios' Psychic-type moves, and attacks with a lot of speed and power.

  • FAST MOVE: Bite
  • CHARGED MOVE: Crunch

Kyogre

Kyogre is a great counter for Latios. A Blizzard attack will deal a great deal of super-effective damage. Be wary of a Solar Beam, as with many of Latios' best counters.

  • CHARGED MOVE: Blizzard

Articuno

Articuno is also a great counter to Latios. It attacks quickly and has enough bulk to take Latios' hits.

  • CHARGED MOVE: Blizzard, Ice Beam

scizor

Scizor is the fourth-best counter to Latios and the best Bug-type counter. It attacks with incredible speed and charges its Charged Attacks very quickly.

  • CHARGED MOVE: X-Scissor

THE  DRAGONS

The Dragons are some of the best counters to Latios.

​Here are the moves you'll want on Dragonite and Rayquaza:
  • FAST MOVE: Dragon Tail
  • CHARGED MOVE: Outrage

​Here are the moves you'll want on Latios and Latias:
  • FAST MOVE: Dragon Breath
  • CHARGED MOVE: Dragon Claw

Here are the move's you'll want on Salamence:
  • FAST MOVE: Dragon Tail
  • ​CHARGED MOVE: Draco Meteor

Mewtwo

Mewtwo can be a great counter, if you're lucky enough to have one. It deals out super-effective Charged Attacks with a large attack stat behind them.

  • FAST MOVE: Psycho Cut
  • CHARGED MOVE: Shadow Ball

Gardevoir

Gardevoir is the best Fairy-type counter. It isn't as viable without a Fairy-type Fast Attack, but that's not to say it is bad. Gardevoir can also be used as a Ghost-type.

​Here are the moves you'll want:
  • FAST MOVE: Confusion
  • CHARGED MOVE: Dazzling Gleam, Shadow Ball

other  viable  counters

Heracross and Pinsir are good Bug-type counters. A Sceptile with Fury Cutter can also be used.

Banette and Gengar are the best Ghost-type counters to Latios. As for Fairy-types, Ursaring and Clefable are usable alternatives to Gardevoir.

Walrein and Lapras are the best Ice-type alternatives. Feraligatr and Miltoic can also be used. Altaria and Flygon can be useful Dragon-types.

​Gyarados, Absol, Umbreon, Sharpedo, Feraligatr, and Houndoom are the best Dark-type counters.
