1. the solstice event
The Solstice Event kicked off with a bang! One of the most popular events in a while brought discounted Lucky Eggs and large XP multipliers (x3 and x5) on catches, accuracy, and Egg hatches. The event will end on the twentieth, so remember to buy Lucky Eggs before the solstice concludes.
2. Gym-system rework
While the Gyms did not go down on June 16 as leaked, but a date has been set: June 19. Niantic did not give a time when they announced this, so get your Stardust and PokéCoins now! Once Gyms are shutdown, all Pokémon will return to their Trainers, allowing for a clean slate when the rework launches in the upcoming days.
3. pokemon go meet and greet: event dates announced, and began
The European mall chain that sponsors Pokémon GO, Unibail-Rodamco, is hosting events in multiple countries throughout the coming months. One event has already taken place, bringing a photo opportunity with Pikachu, a 24-hour Lure session, and a chance to "Meet and Greet" other Trainers. According to images posted on Pokémon GO Hub, the best spawn of the day was a Lapras. No promo codes, Legendaries, or any other major items / updates were given to attendees.
4. Pnn project
The PNN Pokédex has finally been completed! Thank you for your patience while it was developed. We have began work on the Generation 3 'Dex, so be on the lookout. Also, the three first articles of the Generation Preparation series have been published. A separate page for this series will go up soon, and this is where the Gen 3 Pokédex will be stored until the new Pokémon launch.
