Shiny Duskull and Shiny Dusclops were released on Thursday. In addition to the golden Shiny Sableye, make sure to keep an eye out for those red Shiny Duskull.
Shiny Shuppet and Shiny Banette are expected, but not confirmed to, be released sometime next week before the end of the Halloween Event. Lets hope this theory is true, and Niantic keeps giving us one new Shiny family every week. Also, as a bit of clarification, there seems to be no such thing as a Shiny Witch-Hat Pikachu. None have been found, and there is no sprite downloaded for it
2. EX Raids: Niantic's statement and a new wave
There was a wave of EX Raids this week. They took place on Friday at noon, and contained Mewtwo. Another wave of EX Raids will take place this upcoming Friday at noon. They could contain Mewtwo, but Ho-Oh is still on table, given its recent stat-nerf.
Niantic also made a statement (or rather Tweet) on EX Raids this week. They have acknowledged that the system was met with widespread criticism. We hope this leads to a better algorithm for EX Pass distribution and more transparency by Niantic on how to get an EX Pass.
3. Pokemon go week in South Korea
A real-world event was announced this week. South Korean spawns will be greatly increased throughout a majority of the country for the duration of the event. The final two days of the event will feature Unown, Legendary Birds, and Mr. Mime in Seoul. the event will last from November 4 to November 12.
4. Ultra sun & ultra moon: major leaks, and new trailer incoming
A new trailer for Pokémon Ultra Sun and Pokémon Ultra Moon is incoming. The announcement of a trailer would indicate major news. The trailer will be published on the official Pokémon YouTube channel on Thursday at 9:00 A.M. ET.
Some leaked screenshots from the new games revealed the return of Team Rocket! From alternate leaks, we are led to believe that the new team will take over the Aether Foundation. Giovanni will allegedly be a part of this Rainbow Rocket, along with all the former team leaders (coming from alternate realities where their goals were successful). This leak was further confirmed by a Tweet from Junichi Masuda surrounded by the signature Pokémon of every evil leader (excluding Lusamine and Archie).
The alternate leaks also predicted the names of the games, Necrozma and Lycanroc forms, and the new Ultra Beasts. This increases the believability of these leaks, although does not confirm them yet. They also predicted an Alolan Oddish, which would definitely confirm these leaks. SOURCE: Bird Keeper Toby, Serebii.net

6. PNN Project
PNN has been hard at work this week to update the website's design and functionality. We will be continuing to work on this and other projects over the next month before the release of Generation 3.
Dropdown menus will down come down when hovering over the "Pokédex" and "Generation Preparation" pages in navigation showing the individual generations. This should cut down on loading times, especially for those without a good connection. We've also placed the #GenPrep articles on the page.
The #GenPrep Pokédex entries continue to be filled out. Generation 4 and 5 are complete, Generation 6 is almost complete, and Generation 7 will be completed soon.
We also plan to upgrade our Pokédex entries with a slight design upgrade and increased functionality. Stay tuned for more improvements on PNN, Trainers!
